Beam Detector

Beam Detector
or Beam Smoke Detector, a type of smoke detector that uses one or more light transmitters and sensors to detect the formation and thickening of a smoke layer below the ceiling. Beam detectors are typically used in atriums and other large spaces and may be installed in a vertical or horizontal grid.
